The book nicely details every Doctor Who story to date with main cast lists; broadcast/release information; short plot guide; trivia and the author's opinion. Even if I don't always agree with the author's opinions I find the book very useful especially as it also includes book and audio information.

Update Dec 07: I have since gained a book which is very very very detailed and far more interesting and useful to me. ( )
