On Christmas day, Della had only one dollar and eighty-seven cents. She lived with her husband in New York. They were really poor but she wanted to give nice chains to her husband. She made a big decision to do it.
They are quite famous stories and it is worthy of being called his immortal work. Everyone likes his stories because he wrote usual dailies. This story enriched my mind! ( )

This book is made by short stories. All stories happened in New York. I like first story. The title is "Christmas Present". Della is a poor woman, she just has little money everyday. It's December and near the Christmas day then. So she wants to buy Christmas present for her husband James. However she has only little money, so that she can't buy present. ..

My favourite story is first one that I introdused here. When I read this story I feel sorry for her life style. Altough she is poor, she is happy beause she loves her husband. I guess she satisfied with her life style. I enjoyed reading. ( )
