A detective was asked it to search the woman. But he met some murders when searching her. Where she is? And why those merders caused?
I am bad at reading mysteries because I don't like them very much. But this story is a few fun because the detective who is hero is a good joker. All characters are serious, but sometimes he say nice joke. ( )

The Lady in the Lake is a murder story.
Private detective Philip Marlowe is looking for the wife of Derace Kingsley. Is she dead or not,or "the lady in the lake"?

Marlowe freely carries out the gun of the spot without a report. So it seems that he isn't a detective.
But because Marlowe does action which ordinary detectives doesn't,I think that it is interesting. ( )
