This book is totally silly in the best possible way. It made me yell with laughter and was a lot of fun to read aloud. And the end -- perfect! A great addition to the Doctor Who / Mr. Men series. ( )

One of my favorites. Super cute story and I do love when The Master makes an appearance! ( )

The Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Adric, and Tegan go for groceries, but end up trapped by the Master. I loved the Mr. Men series when I was a kid, so I am ridiculously giddy about this mashup with Doctor Who. Very impressed with how the simple Mr. Men-style characters manage to emulate the Doctor characters' personas. ( )

(Fifth of 12 : Dr. Who/ Mr. Men series. Children's. Retro)

The Doctor is feeling peckish but there’s no food in the ‘fridge so he decides to pop down to Earth to restock, along with Nyssa, Adric and Tegan. Unfortunately, Cybermen are shopping in the same supermarket. And so is a strangely familiar little old lady. Fortunately, the Doctor has his trusty sonic screwdriver handy.

I like the way many of the Doctor’s companions are included in different books in the series.
