From Australia they set off for Brazil, where the Tswana are recovering their people stolen as slaves, they are shipwrecked, captured, escape, and end up in the Incan Empire. New dragons, a new dragon culture and new intrigues await as they try and make their way to Rio to complete their mission. This novel adds to the world of Temeraire by revealing yet another continent and more dragons (only Antarctica and North America remain unvisited by our heroes). It's also interesting to me that I forgot the entire plot of this book since reading it 15 months ago (and that it was *still* a slog despite that).
